Celebrate Parma's Bicentennial! Join a hands-on family workshop to build a real time capsule for your special memories. All supplies provided except for your personal treasures. Registration required.
Get ready for the Bicentennial Parma Time Capsule opening ceremony at City Hall on June 6 and the "Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Challenge! Artists from Parma Area Fine Arts Council will help you collage a box for your own memories.
Bring some photos, paper souvenirs, small drawings or whatever is important to you. Make photocopies of items you do not want to cut up or paste. We provide the box and all the other materials.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Participants may be recorded and/or surveyed to capture this program’s effectiveness. This program may include activities that could be considered harmful. In order for your child to participate you must sign the Release and Hold Harmless form and return it to the program location at least one week prior to the program’s start date.
