Write along with poets of all skill levels
Not getting much writing done lately? This workshop offers pen-to-paper time to jumpstart your creativity. We’ll analyze poems from contemporary authors, respond to prompts, discuss effective poetry practices, and share our works in progress (optional). You’ll come away with a draft to take to the East Side Poetry Workshop, West Side Poetry Workshop, another group, or simply something for your own collection.
Please bring a notebook or laptop (your own or borrowed from the library) in order to work on the writing prompts. All poets are welcome!
Rebecca Ferlotti (she/her) is a poet and developmental editor specializing in nonfiction books. Her poetry has been published in a handful of literary magazines; and she has presented her work at conferences, coffee shops, and libraries around the U.S. Rebecca also runs The Content Cornerstone, an empathy-driven content marketing collective. When she’s not at her home office, she’s traveling the world, which she uses as fuel for her personal and professional writing.
