Children who struggle with reading will have the opportunity to read aloud to a very special dog. Pet Pals will be held in our Storytime Room.
Children in second through fifth grades who struggle with reading will have an opportunity to read aloud to very special dogs this summer. Each reader will be paired with a certified therapy dog for 15 minutes of reading. There are three slots each day. If one is full, please try another slot or another date. Presented by Pet Pals Program of University Hospitals. Registration is suggested, but walk ins are welcome as slots are available.

Grassroots library service in Strongsville dates back to 1881, when 400 books were located in the Town Hall. More than 120 years later, the Strongsville Branch of CCPL is home to the Kathleen Cochrane DePiero Recording Studio where visitors can make their own tracks, green screen videos, podcasts or audiobook recordings for free.
