A representative from Benjamin Rose, a HUD-approved housing and financial counseling agency, will present on recognizing & avoiding elder financial abuse.

A representative from Benjamin Rose will present this workshop on recognizing and avoiding elder financial abuse. In this workshop, you will learn what elder financial exploitation is and why older adults are at risk, who the abusers are, and where to report the abuse. Benjamin Rose is a Cleveland-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner in the aging journey. This workshop is geared towards older adults and their caregivers.

About the branch

Grassroots library service in Strongsville dates back to 1881, when 400 books were located in the Town Hall. More than 120 years later, the Strongsville Branch of CCPL is home to the Kathleen Cochrane DePiero Recording Studio where visitors can make their own tracks, green screen videos, podcasts or audiobook recordings for free.
