Create an elegant, book-inspired decorative garland that blends literature and nature. In this workshop, participants will layer small animal prints with recycled book pages and coordinating colored paper to craft a cohesive, artful hanging piece finished with natural twine. All materials will be provided, along with guidance to help you create a polished, display-ready garland. Ideal for adults who enjoy paper crafting and literary-inspired décor.

About the branch

The Independence Branch began as a collection operated out of City Hall. After outgrowing that space, the library moved into its own facility and since 1992 the branch has been a part of the city’s municipal complex that includes a recreational facility and senior center.
