Join us for a thought-provoking presentation that explores the school-to-prison pipeline—a national trend in which students, particularly those from marginalized communities, are pushed out of schools and into the criminal justice system. This presentation will examine the root causes of the pipeline, including zero-tolerance discipline policies, racial and economic disparities, the role of law enforcement in schools, and the long-term impacts on students' futures.
This session is ideal for students, educators, parents, and community members who want to better understand and dismantle this systemic issue.
Presented by Jermaine Crayton M.Ed./CTRS/CAM/Reiki Master/Yogi. A Holistic Practitioner with experience in Healthcare, Corrections, and Higher Education. He served as a Healing Services Specialist in Pain Management and currently engages Incarcerated Adults in the tenants of Yoga, House of Healing, and Meditation.
