Learn how to use the free 3-D design software tinkercad to make a personalized heart lithopane. This is a high demand/limited seat program. Please join the wait list.
Lithophanes are an art form where a translucent material, often porcelain or plastic, is engraved or sculpted to create a three-dimensional image that is revealed when backlit.
3-D printing has revolutionized the creation of lithophanes, allowing for more complex and intricate designs. 3-D printers make it possible to print out lithophanes with photos or images.
A week before the program, please email Parma-Snow staff with the photo you wish to be 3-D printed for a heart lithopane. The email is ccplpaslibrary@gmail.com.
To participate in this program, you must have experience using a desktop computer with a keyboard and mouse. You will also need to have a valid email and know your email password to create a tinkercad account. You can pick your 3-D printed lithopane up at a later date.
This event is a high demand/limited seat program. All customers that register will automatically be added to the wait list.
