Fairview Park Branch
Meeting Room (A & B) (70)Enjoy a visual tour of abandoned buildings, forgotten landmarks, and hidden places frozen in time through the art of urban exploration photography.
Join photographer Mark Soergel for a visual tour of abandoned buildings, back alleys, old cemeteries, dirt roads and other places that people never notice or try to avoid. Learn about the art of urban exploration photography while discovering the beauty, mystery, and history behind locations most people never have the chance to see. Mark Soergel is a photographer that has spent the last 10 years finding, exploring, and photographing the lonely, overlooked and hidden places around north central Ohio. I find beauty in things most people pass right by.

Fairview Park Branch
The Fairview Park Branch originally operated out of a small storefront on Lorain Road. Today, the building is large enough to support a book capacity of 147,000 volumes. The branch also features a beautiful travel-themed children’s area complete with a miniature Eiffel Tower and airplanes, and an Innovation Center maker space.
