Victoria Brody from Mission Empawthy Dog Training will present an informative and engaging program about service dogs and the vital roles they play in supporting people with disabilities. This presentation will cover what service dogs are, how they differ from therapy and emotional support animals, and the laws that protect service dog teams. Attendees will learn how service dogs are trained using humane, positive-reinforcement methods and will see a live demonstration of common service dog tasks, such as retrieving items, responding to cues, and assisting with daily activities.
The program will conclude with a Q&A session, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions about training, public access, and how service dogs work in real-life situations.
