Chef Peggi Cruz will demonstrate how to cook vegan Mofongo with a tantalizing flare! Mofongo is a savory plantain-based dish that is a staple of Puerto Rican cuisines, reflecting a blend of African, Spanish, and Indigenous Taino culinary influences. Learn about some of Puerto Rico’s traditional ingredients, how to use them, and how to make a delicious, authentic, Island dish that will surely wow your family and friends!  Registration required.

About the branch

First opened in 1969, the Middleburg Heights Branch moved into a new building in 2018, which features public meeting rooms, a special sensory friendly children’s area, quiet study rooms and a full-service drive-up window.
