Artful Mondays is an informal monthly drop in arts and crafts program featuring a specific art/craft technique.

Watercolor is a mixture of finely ground pigment suspended in a water based solution. Other ingredients are often added to stabilize the paint, making it as lightfast as possible, allowing your paintings to stand the test of time.

During this program we will explore the variety of watercolor paints available as well as brushes and papers. We will show you samples of some watercolor painting techniques and provide other resources as well. Watercolor painting can be used for quick studies as well as detailed images. It can be used to create your own personalized bookmarks, greeting cards, and gifts.

We welcome beginners as well as experiences painters. If you have favorite brushes and other materials at home feel free to bring those in. Registration is recommended but not required.

This branch is a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Café location.
