Lights, camera, create! Teens and tweens learn video production, online safety, and copyright basics while filming their own video using library media equipment.
In this four-week media lab, tweens and teens will learn how online creators produce engaging videos and create their own.
Participants will explore video storytelling, filming techniques, and editing while working with real equipment in the library’s media studios. Along the way, they’ll learn important digital media skills, including copyright basics, using music legally, online safety, and how creators build responsible online content.
The program wraps up with a mini screening where participants can share their finished videos.
