Experience one hour of meditative relaxation in this restorative class. Bring a yoga mat or towel to lie on, and a blanket to cover the body.
Yoga Nidra or ‘yogic sleep’ is a meditative practice that invites a deep state of
physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. One hour of this practice is equivalent to 4 hours
of regular sleep and helps lower stress, improve mental clarity, and increase energy. You will be guided into the dreamlike space between sleep and wakefulness— into a state of deep relaxation where breathing and thoughts are slowed.
Crystal singing bowls, chimes and other instruments are played to help clear energy. The sound waves of crystal singing bowls help both nourish and energize the nervous system. The vibrations help to shift stuck or blocked energy and restore balance to the body. They also help guide the mind and body into a state of relaxation. Presented by Maria Perme. Maria is a Visual Storyteller, Movement. Mindfulness + Wellness Facilitator, Massage Practitioner, and Shamanic Reiki Master. Learn more about Maria at www.mariapumaperme.com
