Meeting Room (75)Explore the history behind a beloved piece of Cleveland’s history.Â
The Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel opened riders in a brand-new pavilion at the Cleveland History Center in November 2014, but it lived many lives before then. This program explores its first hundred years after its original opening at Euclid Beach, a local amusement park, in 1910. Through the closure of the original park in 1969, the Carousel’s removal from Northeast Ohio, and its complex return and restoration process. This is the story of survival of a beloved piece of Cleveland’s history.

Brecksville Branch
The Brecksville Branch is conveniently located across the street from the Brecksville Community Center and the Kids Quarters playground area. In 2006, the branch suffered extensive flood damage that required the building to be closed for nearly six months while repairs were made. The newly remodeled building reopened on January 14, 2007.
