Demystify the complicated world of air travel and learn about the ins and outs of loyalty programs, pricing, delays and cancellation policies, and how to prepare for common travel frustrations.
Air travel has become increasingly complex, and Airlines 101 breaks it down in a clear, approachable way. Attendees will learn the differences between legacy carriers, low-cost airlines, and ultra-low-cost airlines; how airfare pricing works; what is typically included (and not included) in a ticket; and how to avoid common travel frustrations related to baggage, seating, and boarding.
The session will also cover basic airline loyalty programs, flight delays and cancellations, airport procedures, and realistic expectations when flying domestically or internationally. The presentation lands with an open Q&A, allowing participants to ask general travel questions in a supportive, educational environment.

The Beachwood Branch first opened to the public on October 31, 1982. At the time, it was the first branch in the CCPL system to have an automated circulation system. Located just a few hundred yards from the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, the branch offers a drive-up window where customers can pick up requested materials, dedicated spaces for kids and teens, and a beautiful outdoor reading garden.
