Have FUN while helping your child prepare for Kindergarten with stories and hands-on activities!

Join us as we help your child build kindergarten readiness skills in a program aligned to Ohio's Early Education Standards.  Each session will focus on different school readiness skills. Join us for them all!

  • April 10: All the Essentials - letters/sounds, numbers/counting, colors, shapes, opposites & rhyming
  • April 17: Sharing & Making Choices - social skills, some nutrition 
  • April 24: Fine Motor Skills - scissors, dressing (zippers, buttons, shoelaces), lacing, opening snack/lunch items
  • May 1: All About Me & My Community - including emotions/feelings, five senses, knowing their phone number, address & birthday, staying active, community helpers & places in the community


This event will be held in-person at the Brook Park Branch.

Space is limited. Registration required.

This program made possible with funds from The Friends of the Brook Park Branch library.

Participants may be recorded and/or surveyed to capture program’s effectiveness.
