Meet the Cleveland Gorillas is a senior-friendly, family-friendly multimedia presentation featuring the gorilla troop at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Using real video clips, narrated stories, and gentle pacing, this program introduces the personalities, family bonds, and daily life of these remarkable western lowland gorillas.

The presentation highlights: 

  • Baby gorillas Kayembe, Kunda, and Jameela, and their role in the troop. 
  • The leadership of silverback Mokolo and the caregiving of Fredrika. 
  • Themes of conservation, animal enrichment, and intergenerational learning.

Designed for an adult audience, the program blends education, storytelling, and wildlife conservation awareness. Attendees leave with a deeper appreciation for gorillas, their complex social lives, and the global efforts to protect them.
