This documentary explores the stigma and racial bias experienced by African Americans with unique sounding names as well as the historical origin of these names.

Experience the power of storytelling through a short film screening that spotlights Black characters, voices, and perspectives. After the screening, stay for a guided discussion where we’ll reflect on the stories, filmmaking, and cultural impact. Whether you're a film enthusiast or simply curious, this program invites meaningful conversation and a love for movies.

The Garfield Heights Branch is a Student Success Center and a Greater Cleveland Food Bank Kids Café location. It also offers a green screen video recording studio and an audio recording studio where visitors can make videos and record CDs for personal or business use.
