Julie Koenig, of Royally Amused, will share real life love stories of Hollywood and Royal couples.
Julie will start by taking you back to the 1700’s to learn about one of the oldest and doomed love stories, Napoleon and Josephine.
Then on to Hollywood, she shares Grace Kelly’s royal love story. Julie will cover the eight marriages of Elizabeth Taylor, most famously to Richard Burton (twice). Learn more in depth about both the on-and-off screen relationships of Paul Newman and Joanna Woodward, Spencer Tracey and Katharine Hepburn. Their real life love stories are more iconic than any love story plots made for the silver screen.
Finally, Julie will show a glimpse at the British Royals, Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales, Princess Margaret and Captain Peter Townsend, both love matches, one ill fated. King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, certainly love for one of them, maybe not the other? Princess Diana and Prince Charles, “there were 3 of us in the marriage, so it was a bit crowded."
