Explore real-world examples of AI applications, such as voice assistants (Siri, Alexa) and recommendation systems (Netflix, Amazon). You'll also discover the benefits and limitations of AI, helping you understand how it can make life easier and more efficient. Gain a functional understanding of how AI works and feel comfortable using it for tasks like organizing, searching or improving productivity in your daily life.

Presenter Bio: Gary Arnosk brings over 17 years of experience in Integration and Technology at Cuyahoga Community College, with a focus on emerging technologies such as augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), AI, drones, 3D printing, 360-degree cameras and educational strategies. Based at the Westshore Campus, he oversees the AR/VR and Emerging Technologies Lab.

About the branch

Grassroots library service in Strongsville dates back to 1881, when 400 books were located in the Town Hall. More than 120 years later, the Strongsville Branch of CCPL is home to the Kathleen Cochrane DePiero Recording Studio where visitors can make their own tracks, green screen videos, podcasts or audiobook recordings for free.
