Student Success Centers are available at 12 branches. Youth who participate in the program receive homework assistance and/or academic enrichment from our center’s staff in the following subjects: English-language arts, math, reading, science and/or social studies.
The branch’s children’s area features oversized artwork from the book In the Small, Small Pond by Denise Fleming. Interactive stations encourage children to explore the wonders of the natural world.
Middle and high school students take over the Innovation Center to work on their own projects in this DIY drop-in event! Registration is not required, but space is limited.

Learn the basics about computing devices, using a mouse and keyboard, and navigating the desktop environment. Computer settings and mobile devices will also be discussed. No prerequisites.
Learn Microsoft Word using tools such as entering and formatting text, copying, pasting, saving and printing. Prerequisite: Computer Basics or equivalent experience.
Volunteers 13 and older (at least 8th grade) can earn volunteer credit hours by helping in the library's Little Picassos: Let it Snow program for ages 3-6.
